Vegetable industry study tours (VG23002)
What is it all about?
This project will deliver a series of international study tours for Australian vegetable and onion growers, designed to expose them to cutting-edge research, technologies, and practices from leading global horticultural regions.
By visiting strategic growing areas, innovation centres, and international conferences, participants will gain valuable insights that can be applied to improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability within the Australian vegetable industry.
The program will also generate industry-wide benefits by capturing and sharing key learnings through reports, presentations, and events. Participants will contribute insights to help identify future research priorities and investment opportunities.
With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and guided by a dedicated Project Reference Group, the project will help ensure the Australian vegetable industry remains competitive and resilient.
